What is HITT?
Step out of your comfort zone with the rising star among popular fitness routines. The HIIT class, which stands for High Intensity Interval Training, is a challenging workout that combines full-body strength training with high-intensity cardio exercises followed by short, but active recovery gaps designed to tone your body. To get the most out of this fitness class, you will be expected to work hard during a series of challenging sets of bodyweight exercises such as squat jumps, mountain climbers, incline sprints and burpees with limited rest in between moves. To achieve maximum effect and burn as many calories as possible, your aim is to contract your abs and core muscles during each exercise making sure you push yourself to the limit.
Is it for me?
This class is often referred to as the Belly Fast Burner due to its unique ability to boost your metabolism and encourage your body to burn belly fat on the next day after your exercise. You can also benefit from gaining lean muscle and improving your cardiovascular fitness.
This workout can be attended by people of all ages, shapes and fitness levels. It is not advisory to do more than three HIIT classes per week as you need to consider that your body needs rest between each session.
