Vinyasa Flow Yoga

What is Vinyasa Flow Yoga?

Explore the connection between your breath and body movements with this modern vigorous yoga practice inspired by the traditional Indian yoga discipline that aims to promote control of the body and mind.

Developed by K. Pattabhi Jois at the beginning of the 20th century, Vinyasa, which can literally be translated as arranging your body in a special way, uses vigorous flows of postures to warm the body, focus the mind, increase flexibility and build strength and stamina.

This dynamic yoga practice includes sun salutations, standing and seated poses and inversions such as upward and downward facing dog, cat-cow stretches and planks.
