Organised by the university’s Sport and Wellness Service, the afternoon of activity consisted of playground-style sports and games, instead of your traditional football or badminton tournaments. This included space hopper noughts-and-crosses races, obstacle courses whilst blindfolded, netball shooting challenges and bench ball.

Although a fun, friendly afternoon was the goal, there was an ultimate winner. Congratulations to the CitySport Team, who took a victory by the decider of Basketball shootout.

Top spot on the league table changed multiple times throughout  Students Union entered the final round knowing a win would give them the title, however, a huge victory for SST against them in the blind penalty shootout meant they took the top spot instead. Several wins in the last few rounds meant CitySport rushed up the leaderboard.

After 9 rounds of activity, a tie for first decider of a basketball shootout, first to land a basket would win. Team captain Shane took responsibility to shoot first and she scored as SST unfortunately missed.
